WebFactorE’s founder served as President of Blockbuster.com, charged with the creation and operation of a full-featured e-commerce entertainment portal for the world’s leading provider of home entertainment. A strategy was developed to enable online sale of distressed video inventory returned to the company’s central warehouse from stores. An innovative online rental process was developed to link 7,000 stores to the website enabling members to browse and rent titles online for skip-the-line store pick-up. A sixty person operations team was built consisting of client service managers, content creators, video specialists, editors, animators, content management specialists, advertising coordinators, analysts, and business development specialists. Dynamic content featuring exclusive video interviews with top Hollywood stars, original and partner-generated animated content, contests was created.
